Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead and execute our growth strategy in the Canadian market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives for the Canadian market.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential client segments.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business prospects through various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs, articulating the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close new business deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress using a CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior leadership on business development activities, progress against goals, and pipeline health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic sales, or a related client facing role, with a focus on the Canadian market.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business strategies in a competitive environment.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in Canada.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial and results oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
