Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Innovation Expert with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in driving innovation from concept to reality. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned practitioner of design thinking, agile methodologies and a master facilitator of creative ideation and validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and facilitate cross-functional teams through the complete design thinking process, from empathizing with users to prototyping and testing solutions.
- Spearhead and orchestrate ideas generation and validation activities, including large-scale hackathons, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
- Direct the creation of UI/UX prototypes and oversee user research to ensure concepts are validated against real-world needs.
- Champion a culture of innovation across the organization, providing guidance and strategic oversight for new initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in an innovation-focused role.
- Canadian residency with a willingness to travel for project-based work.
- Proven track record of successfully launching innovative products or services.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to transform complex problems into validated, user-centered solutions.
- Extensive experience working with the public or financial sectors.
Certifications in innovation from recognized organizations are a plus.
